Barbara received her degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University. She also studied abroad with the renowned English garden designer, John Brooks and completed the certificate program in ornamental plants at Longwood Gardens. She was the former Center City Green manager for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and a blue ribbon winner at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Currently, in addition to providing design assistance for our clients, Barb helps out with the displays and is working on new plans for an outdoor pergola at Garden Accents. In her spare time, she teaches garden design and horticulture at the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia, PA and the Adult School in Haddonfield, NJ. Her other interests include: travel, theater, ballet, biking, skiing and gardening with her husband, Ron Rabideau, who is the manager for RareFIND Nursery in Jackson, NJ.
