Marian Flahavin

Marian feels real children provide the personality that each fountain figure requires and the addition of water adds even more interest. Her art has been exhibited in many national shows, as well as in several juried national art groups.      "Fireflies" by Marian Flahavin is the first solar powered lighted garden sculpture. The solar panel at the base charges during the day and at dusk the fireflies inside the jar begin to blink--just like the real ones. This piece has just been accepted at a major New York Juried Show at the National Arts Club. 27" x 9" x 11" round base. Charming      "The Race" by Marian Flahavin. In this fountain, the water shoots from the turtle into your basin or pond.  "Faerie Music" by Marian Flahavin. 18" H. This little faerie, with her delicate wings, is blowing a tiny instrument from which the water sprays.     Marian Flahvin has designed a figure and plate series for Goebel, prints and cards for Ronald McDonald House, St. Anne's Children's Home and Valley General Hospital, and a sculpture for the benefit of Morning Star Boys Ranch. Her garden figures remain her favorite for the pure joy they provide.
