To date, the Jim Ponter water sculpture series features several pieces, each with its own character and sense of movement. The series includes piped fountains as well as one fountain sculpture. Any water gardener is sure to find something of interest in the series.

This bronze was done by Jim Ponter just in time for the Phila. Flower Show. It stands 47" high. The fountain has 2 frogs and a turtle at the bottom which spout. It is the latest bronze by Jim Ponter a wonderful lifelike Great Blue Heron. The code is JPB 13 Great Blue Heron by Jim Ponter 1 in edition at this time...
Faun Fountain by Jim Ponter. This fountain exudes charm....the detail in the faun, the rock and the tiny animals is incredible. Can be mounted in the center of your feature or on the side. The Miner, this 9 ½ foot statue stands in Minersville, Pa., approximately 30 miles NW of Reading, Pa. It was commissioned as a memorial to the courageous miners who toiled in the Pennsylvania mines. Erected in 1998, it stands on a large base which represents the coal so indigenous to the area. After sunset, the light from the lamp as well as his miner's hat beams into the night.
Large Piped Turtle Girl stands 40" high and motion is expressed in this exuberant piece creating a feeling of freedom as girl and turtle skim the water. Situated on a 12" base encrusted with seashells, it is piped with a circle of water jets sending Turtle Girl on her joyous ride.
Dolphin Ride is a lively piece depicting a young girl stealing a ride on a dolphin. The fountain sculpture captures the moment the dolphin leaps out of the water. The spray from the jets at the base of of the dolphin's tail extend in the direction of the jump. This piece is 18" high, 21" long and is a charming piece for a small water garden.
The Frog is a boy holding a huge frog and is 21½" high. It's undoubtedly the most playful in the series. The face of the boy expresses pure joy as he struggles to hold his playmate who seems to want nothing else but to swim freely in the water.
The Great Blue Heron is Jim's latest piece and stands 23" high, standing on a branch with a frog and turtle at the base spouting water. The attention to detail and the natural coloration achieved with the patina is amazing.
