Allison Armour designs garden fountains and sculptures. She uses classical shapes like spheres and obelisks, and modern materials like mirror-polished stainless steel and clear acrylic, to produce artworks which enhance and reflect traditional gardens - and look great in modern open exterior and interior spaces. Her themes are peace and creative tranquillity - producing reflections both physical and mental. She started her design career with two show gardens at the Chelsea Flower Shows in 2000 and 2001, which both won medals, setting her artwork first in a traditional, all-white, flower border and second in an X-shaped all-rose design. Her innovative Aqualens and Aquasphere fountains use a transparent, water-filled acrylic sphere set in a range of pool options, such as a 5-foot stainless steel "contact lens" dish pool. Her art has featured in TV shows and magazines around the world, and is now seen in hotels, hospitals, public and commercial spaces, and private gardens both great and small. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
