Calitri is a little village located in the middle of three regions of Southern Italy – Campania, Puglia & Bascilicata. There to this day you will find a strong tradition in the arts including handmade ceramics where this terra cotta jar originated. An incredibly rich, substantial statement piece – gently aged – with a “Made in Italy” inscription. A jar that is hand molded and of substantial weight and quality. Of course, this is easily a stand alone art piece or you can elevate the interior and drop a planter of cascading seasonal favorites inside.
