Product Description

This Terra Cotta from the Itallian Village of Impruneta is made strictly by hand, Turn on the wood kiln, identical to those used in Roman times, and the artisans quite often estimate the temperature according to the white color of the hot vases. High firing and a high iron content in the clay make these frost resistant!  By the 19th century the lemon assumed a great social and economic importance transforming the Italian landscape.
