Ran Kei Lantern
Product Description
Lanterns were introduced in Japan as a Buddhist art form. Initially used as votive lights at temples and shrines. Rankei lanterns are traditionally positioned on the banks of a pond. The arched column of the Rankei rises out of the bank and allows the body of the lantern to overhang the water. This gives not only a wonderful reflection in the water, but also a link between water and land. Without a doubt, this adds so much character and life into any garden space.
