This birdhouse design receives a 10 from us! They are made from poly lumber which is sourced from recycled high density polyethylene, yet they look like wood and the colors are vibrant and artistic. This material resists rotting and will hold up to insects that destroy wood.  The roof and front both open easily for clean out.  Hardware is aluminum, so no rusting. Also included is a mounting block and screws. The hole is 1 1/2 " wide making it ideal for bluebirds, wrens, swallows and others.
